Joshua Shifrin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. He went on to earn his Master's of Science in Educational Psychology, as well as his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology, from Northeastern University in Boston.

After working for five years as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, Joshua enrolled at Florida State University, where he is currently a doctoral candidate in a Combined Counseling Psychology and School Psychology PhD program.

Joshua lives in New Jersey with his wife, Maya, and their two sons. His first book, 101 Incredible Moments in Tennis, was published in 2005; a second edition is due out this fall from JR Books.
